Che cos’è un blog? O un sito web? Molte cose. Il primo diciamo che può essere il diario personale di qualcuno o lo spazio in cui una o più persone parlano più o meno quotidianamente di qualcosa mediante dei “post” che possono (o meno) essere commentati. Che poi sia lo spazio personale di uno studente su MySpace o altro sito gratuito, il blog di un professionista sul proprio dominio .it o .com, o qualcosa di collegato alla redazione di una pubblicazione come nel caso di Mytech, cambia poco.
Il secondo può avere diversi significati e utilizzi: può essere solo pubblicitario di un marchio o un prodotto senza venderlo (come uno spot televisivo), servire a fare e-commerce puro e semplice, a fornire servizi dei tipi più disparati, a pubblicare materiali digitali di qualsiasi tipo senza fini commerciali; e via dicendo. Può ovviamente essere un ibrido di qualcuna delle cose che abbiamo citato.
A volte è curioso come invece sulla Rete certe cose prendano vita propria: penso (e scusate la prima persona) :) ad esempio a certi commenti apparsi proprio qui in calce ad articoli, spesso a firma del sottoscritto.
Alcuni thread – dal serio al faceto – vivono per conto proprio anche un anno e più dopo l’uscita del post originale. Il post sull’aspirapolvere Roomba e sul fratellino lavapavimenti Scooba (peraltro non penso ancora disponibile sul mercato italiano in maniera ufficiale…) sembra essere il caso più lampante: qui addirittura un articolo datato 20 maggio 2007 si è trovato a un anno di distanza ad avere qualcosa come un’ottantina di commenti, quasi una specie di forum italiano non ufficiale su un prodotto.
Il fatto che poi quello spazio non fosse inteso come forum conta poco.
Ma d’altra parte in tredici anni di Rete chi scrive ne ha viste di tutti i colori: non siamo ancora al livello della persona che scrisse in una mailing list dedicata ai fumetti e – notando il flusso interminabile di messaggi – chiese quasi con preoccupazione: “Ma a che ora chiude questo forum?” :)
